Crockpot Taco Bake

  Taco bake, slow cooker style.
Ingredients:
  1 LB   Ground beef/turkey
  1/2 Cup   Chopped onion
  3/4 Cup   Water
  1 1 3/4 oz package   taco seasoning
  1 Can (15 oz)   tomato sauce
  1 8 oz package   shell macaroni, uncooked
  1 Can (4 oz)   mild chopped green chiles
  2 Cups   mild shredded chedder or Jack cheese
Directions:
  1. In a skillet, brown beef/turkey and onions, drain.

2. Add the water, taco seasoning, and tomato sacue; stir to a blend.

3. Simmer for 15 to 20 minutes

4. Transfer to slow cooker.

5. Stir in macaroni and chopped green chiles.

6. Cover and cook on LOW for 6-8 hours or on HIGH for 3-4 hours.

7. About 30 minutes before end of cooking time, top with shredded cheese.
