Gail's Taco Soup

ground beef |

onion, diced |

taco seasoning |

kidney beans |

Ranch Style Beans |

corn, whole kernel |

hominy, white |

15 oz |

rotel |

tomatoes, chopped |

Directions: |

In skillet, brown Ground Beef. Saute onion until translucent. Combine Beef, Onion, and Taco Seasoning.
Crock-Pot- Place meat mixture into CrockPot along with 1 can each (undrained): Kidney Beans, Ranch Style Beans, Corn, Hominy, Rotel, Tomatoes (chopped), and 1 envelope Ranch Dressing Mix. Cook on High for 4 hrs. or low for 6-7 hrs...add a cup of water if you like it more soupy or if it becomes too thick for your preference.
Stovetop- Place meat mixture into large pot along with 1 can each: Kidney Beans, Ranch Style Beans, Corn, Hominy, Rotel, Tomatoes (chopped), and 1 envelope Ranch Dressing Mix. Stir well, then bring to boil; reduce heat and simmer for 30 min. Add another cup of water if you like it more soupy or if it becomes too thick for your preference.
Great served over chips or with cornbread; garnish with shredded cheese if desired.
